1. The app and independence

The Tunturissa app is provided by Cavalier Venues Oy (business ID 3649639-4, VAT FI36496394, Lönnrotinkatu 40, 00180 Helsinki, Finland). The app is an independent service and is not an official app of any ski resort, tourism association, or local business. Core features are free and the app is used without an account. By using the app you accept these terms.

2. Information

Slope and lift status, conditions, weather, events, ski trails, hiking routes, and camera images come from third parties and open data sources: Finnish ski resorts and regional tourism associations (Iso-Syöte, Ruka, Vuokatti, Himos, Ylläs, Sappee, Salla, Saariselkä, Pyhä, Ounasvaara, Levi, and Tahko), the Finnish Meteorological Institute, Fintraffic, the National Land Survey of Finland, Metsähallitus, and LIPAS. We show the source and time of each item, but we cannot guarantee that the information is always up to date or free of errors. Check essential matters on site.

3. Safety

In an emergency, call 112. The app does not replace the slope patrol, the resort's signs or your own judgement. Do not use your phone while skiing.

4. YouTube

The slope camera stream is on YouTube, and its live status comes from YouTube API Services. By using the app you also agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service.

5. Group and leaderboard

Group location sharing is meant for family and people you know. Share the group code only with those you want to see your location, and add a child under 13 only as their guardian or with a guardian's permission. Location may be inaccurate or delayed, and location sharing does not replace making plans, supervision or the emergency number.

6. Fell Pass and other purchases

The optional Fell Pass (Winter Pass or Summer Pass) is a seasonal one-time purchase (not an auto-renewing subscription) bought through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store under the respective store's terms. Lift passes and other ski resort services are bought in the provider's web shop under the provider's terms, and Cavalier Venues Oy is not a party to those purchases.

7. Liability and governing law

The app is provided as is, and we are liable for damages only to the extent required by mandatory law. These terms do not limit your rights under consumer protection law. These terms are governed by Finnish law.
