Frequently asked questions
How do I switch ski resorts and download offline maps?
You can switch resorts at any time by tapping the resort pill in the top bar or in Settings → Ski resort. When you select a resort or open the Map tab, the app downloads the resort's topographic map for offline use. You can manage or remove downloaded maps in Settings.
What is Tunturipassi (Fell Pass)?
Slope and lift statuses, weather, maps, trails, events, services, and the safety view are free across all 12 ski resorts. The optional Fell Pass (Winter Pass 1 Oct–30 Apr or Summer Pass 1 May–30 Sep, one-time purchase of €9.99 per season, not an auto-renewing subscription) unlocks automatic fell day and ski day tracking, group location sharing, and the season leaderboard across all 12 resorts. On iPhone and iPad, Fell Pass includes Apple Family Sharing.
The information does not update. What can I do?
Every piece of information shows where it comes from and when it was loaded. Without a network connection the app shows the latest information and says so. The resort updates the slope and lift status.
Why does the app ask for my location?
Your location is used to show your position on the map, your coordinates in the safety view and, if you turn it on, to recognise your fell days. Your location does not leave your phone unless you turn on group location sharing yourself, and you can withdraw the permission in your phone's settings.
How do I delete my day history?
On the Days tab: Delete day history.
Why did the app icon change?
The icon follows the season: the winter icon from November to April and the summer icon from May to October. You can choose the icon yourself in Settings → App icon.
